This image is a print made from an original multimedia artwork on acrylics, created by Betty Penny in April 2026. This woman was created in Betty's imagination while she closed her eyes and touched the peacock feathers from her personal jewelry collection. She repurposed peacock feathers with rhinestones into a headpiece for the mixed-media painting.
Before painting, Betty would reflect on a beautiful woman who was at peace with herself and her thoughts, having a quiet moment in a place away from it all. Betty wants to pass this feeling of empowerment, of having a secret place of escape.
A secret place, whether it be in her mind or a place where the wind whispers softly in her ears as if she is a part of nature. She is her own Peacock Muse, "Serenity," a peaceful, shy, beautiful, and confident source of inspiration.
She shows her true colors to symbolize her authentic self, like a peacock displaying its feathers. Unapologetic and beautiful in every way.
