Two Worlds One Sky Art Collection

On the river where two nations face each other, on the Detroit River, the sky becomes the one place without borders. Windsor and Detroit stand like two worlds with their own rhythms, their own histories, their own struggles — yet every summer, they look up together.

The Ferris wheel turns slowly, carrying people from every walk of life in quiet circles of light. At its center is a cherished pin that I received during a Canadian Trade Mission to Washington decades ago, and now the USA–Canada pin glows like a small promise: that harmony is possible, even when systems falter, and bridges take time to open.

A single firework blooms above the skyline, soft and bright, reminding us that joy can rise above division. For a moment, two worlds breathe under one sky, and the river between them becomes a ribbon of shared color and hope. You didn’t come this far to stop
